The day began well with a bottle of home-brew on the 0800 train to Aberdeen. Being too early to check-in at the hotel we took our bags to the AGM. A big mistake since no bags were getting through security. Two taxi rides later after dropping our bags at the hotel meant that we missed Jame’s & Martin’s spiel. Result!
12 beer tokens were included as part of the entry. Each beer cost 3 or 4 tokens.

The food choice was both large and of great quality. I cant quite remember exactly what I had to eat, one was Indian and the other a burger. But I do remember really enjoying both.
The music was surprisingly good. Being an old fart, I threatened to bring ear plugs and a good book. What I discovered though was that 6 hours of drinking has the same effect.
