Hazy Susan

I was invited to bring along a brew to a local tech meetup and coincidentally I had this hazy brew ready. It was unfiltered and not dry hopped.

    1. westcoast - Preheat

    1. westcoast - Mash

    westcoast - Ferment

Comparing the TiltHydrometer graphs with against my own equipment, shows that the internal fermenter temperature remained constant despite the variation in the ambient temperature.

It’s also really interesting to compare the OG with the fermenter weight. A clear correlation can be seen between the two. The weight reduced from 19.9Kg to 18.9Kg at the end of fermentation. This corresponded to a reduction in OG from 1.056 to 1.010. This would imply that there was about 18.8 litres in the fermenter which seems about spot on.
